In Year 2002-2003 I participated in a workshop that was hold by Eva Koch, a Danish artist. The goal with the exhibition was to work with video-screenings in outdoor-spaces in Stockholm.
We were five artists taking part in the project. We started to look for places that we find interesting for the project. It turned out to be much more difficult than we had expected to get permission for screening moving images on public buildings in Stockholm. The discussions during the project were a lot about what is/isn´t allowed to be shown in public places. After one year of hard and many meetings later we succeeded to get a permission to show our art-work on the fasade of “. Hötorgsskrapa nr 1 ” in the Centre of Stockholm. The result was a composition of six different works shown trough three projections. My work consisted of a heart with ” Stockholm ” written in it and that fall trough all the three projections as a ” drop effect “. I also showed a fountain that spurted water and went from micro to macro. Both my work consisted of programmed leds that switched on and off making these two visual compositions.
